Standing Points Explained

1,500 Archers

Over the 2024 season, over 1000 archers entered into the National Tour, competing at five stages to accumulate ranking points and be in with a chance of finishing in the final 40 archers.

Five Stages

The National Tour in 2024 spanned across five stages around the UK, including the UK Masters and British Target Championships, and events in Barnsley and Surrey.

One Final

In September, Nottingham will host the top 40 archers from three bowstyles as they compete against each other to reach the podium, and six will be named National Tour Champions.

Your standing position is based off your best three point performances based from the following tables:

Tier 1 Points: National Tour Stage 720 + H2H

These points apply to Surrey, Barnsley (Day 1) and British Target Championships (Day 1). *

* Due to the cancellation of Stage 1 of the National Tour, the way archers can accumulate National Tour: The Final points has had to be adapted. The WA 70/50 and head-to-head day of the British Target Championships will now be the National Tour stage of the weekend, and the WA 1440 day will be a Tier 2+ event. The WA double 70/50 at Barnsley will also be a Tier 2+ event.

This means that an archer can use up to one of these two Tier 2+ days towards their overall top three National Tour scores. For example, overall scores for the 2024 National Tour could include the UK Masters, Barnsley day 1, and Barnsley day 2; or could include the UK Masters, Surrey, and the British Target Championships day 1.

Tier 2+ Points: National Tour Day 2 Events

These points apply to Barnsley (Day 2) and British Target Championships (Day 2). *
